As the year 2020 came to a close, health and fitness enthusiasts in Australia continued to leverage mobile applications to track their dietary habits. Sensor Tower's data provides insights into the performance of top food and diet tracking apps in the region for the fourth quarter.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter maintained a steady user base with weekly active users peaking at approximately 47K at the start of the quarter and ending with around 43K. Downloads saw a significant jump in the last week of December, reaching nearly 6.3K, while revenues hovered around the $23K mark weekly.

Fastic: Fasting & Food Tracker experienced a fluctuating trend in revenue, ending the quarter on a high note with over $4.6K in the last week. Downloads surged to approximately 4.8K in the final week, and weekly active users saw an uptick, concluding at around 13.7K.

Noom: Weight Loss & Health demonstrated a mixed trend with a notable increase in downloads to over 4.5K in the last week of December. The app's revenue peaked at $172 in early November and showed a modest rise to $80 at the quarter's end. Active users showed growth, reaching approximately 17.8K in the final week.
